Glenwood/DeLeon Springs Preschool and Day Care
4390 Grand Avenue, DeLeon Springs, Florida 32130
Our Glenwood Campus pre-school and Day Care provides a smaller and more intimate setting where you and your preschoolers are genuinely loved and cared for.
Our shaded playground, lots of field trips and fun activities, and genuine learning (see academic goals below) must have pleased the parents and the pre-schoolers. Our two daycare centers were again voted the best in West Volusia by the readers of the News Journal.
Our North daycare center is especially convenient for folks living in Glenwood or DeLeon Springs or for those who work at Spartan or commute to DeLand from the north.
It is located 3/10 of a mile off Hwy.17 and just one mile north of the Duvall Home on the Glenwood/DeLeon Springs boundary.

At Lighthouse Christian Academy Preschool and Daycare, we believe it is of prime importance that each child develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We seek to promote an atmosphere of positive Biblical truth in order to encourage a child and his/her understanding of God's love, and be in a position where each will recognize there is a need for a personal relationship with God at an early age.
Bible stories are presented every day as part of the A BEKA curriculum that we use.
We realize that there are some different approaches to specific doctrines within the different Christian churches. It is not our intention to promote these differences in the Christian educational process of our preschool program, but instead to promote the unity of the Body of Christ.
