What is XLR8 all about? Well, basically it means we are about kids! Our goal is to be the best hours of a kids week. Whether it is Sunday morning, Wednesday night or any other special event throughout the week every activity is planned for kids to have fun while learning the principles of evangelism, discipleship and spiritual growth. Our hope that kids will experience a life changing experience with Jesus Christ, while having a great time.
Who are we? We are the children's ministry of the Lighthouse Church, located at 1525 State Road 15A, in Deland, Florida. We minister to kids from brand new babies through age 11.
When are our meetings? We have regular scheduled acitivities on Sunday morning, 8:45 am & 10:45 am, Wednesday night we offer Royal Rangers and Pioneer Clubs at 6:45 pm.
Why are we here? In today's world, children face incredible odds. What a child believes is truth by age 12 will set their choices, behaviors and lifestyles for the teenages and adult years. Pastor James & Ami, and those who work with them believe that their call in life to help young people come to have a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ, to teach them the lifestyle of a disiciple of Christ and how to effecting live out and share their faith.
