Head Varsity Basketball Coach Robert Maltoni has built a great program during the six years he has served as head coach. The picture above was taken at a special ceremony in which we honored our team.
Special congratulations go to Coach Maltoni for being selected runner up as "Coach of the Year" ...chosen from all public and private high schools in Volusia and Flagler counties.
The Crusaders won their district, and won their first game in the regional making them one of Florida's "elite eight". They were then eliminated from the state tourney by Orlando Christian Prep, the 2008 Class A State champions.
They completed a very successful season with a 22 and 7 record
They were ranked as high as 3rd in the State in 1A
There are no Seniors on the team

Congratulations to Marlin Lane Jr. for bring named to the District 5 All Star Team and being named District 5 Most Valuable Player
